Terms of Service

The rules that govern ExpatJobs.es — accounts, listings, paid placements and acceptable use.

Last updated: August 2026.

These terms govern your use of ExpatJobs.es (expatjobs.es), operated by Miguel Fernández Carratalá (NIF 48801156D), a self-employed professional (autónomo) established in Spain, with address at Calle Batiste Mut 15, 03560 El Campello, Alicante, Spain. By using the site you agree to them. Questions: miguel@miguelfernandez.dev.

What the site is

ExpatJobs.es is a jobs and companies directory: we aggregate publicly advertised job openings, list companies and job boards, and publish guides, reference pages and free career tools. Job ads link out to the original source; applying is always free, and we are not part of any application, interview or employment relationship between you and an employer.

Accuracy — no guarantees on third-party content

Job openings, salaries and company details come from third-party sources and change constantly. We refresh the data regularly but cannot guarantee that an opening is still live, that a salary figure is accurate, or that a company's details are current. Salary statistics on this site are computed from advertised figures, not verified payroll data — treat them as orientation. Guides and reference pages are orientation, not legal advice.

Accounts

You need an account for some features (claiming a company, submitting listings). You must provide a working email address and keep access to it; sign-in is by magic link or one-time code. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Claiming a company

Claiming a listing is reserved for people authorised to represent that company. We may ask for verification and may remove or reassign claims made without authority.

Where offered, employers and advertisers can buy placements (for example, featured listings). When you purchase one, the payment is processed by Stripe. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, placements are delivered as described at checkout; if we fail to deliver, contact us and we will fix it or refund the affected period. Paid status never changes what a listing may claim — advertised content must be truthful.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • post false, misleading or unlawful content, or impersonate others;
  • charge candidates for applications or recruitment (we remove such listings);
  • scrape, bulk-download or republish the site's dataset without permission;
  • interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Intellectual property

The site's own content (design, code, editorial content, computed datasets) belongs to the operator or its licensors. Job ads, trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email us and we will review it promptly.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of listed openings, salary figures or guides, nor for the conduct of employers or other third parties you reach through the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms (the "last updated" date changes, and material changes affecting registered users are notified by email) and may discontinue features. You can stop using the site at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing us.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also keep any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your domicile.
